Available in either 24, 28 or 32 disc version and aimed at the mixed arable farms and agricultural machinery cooperatives the XS range offers ease of use with a high standard of work. Disc gangs Alternate discs in special high tensile strength heat treated steel. Fitted on 40 mm shaft. 610 diameter on XS. 3 www.kuhn.com Hydraulic folding for transport (optional) This system provides optimum ease of use. The disc gangs can be hydraulically folded up into transport position directly from the tractor cab. 4 Safety during transport Mechanical setting of opening and folding (fitted as standard) Simple robust 2 pin system: The first pin locks the unit in the working or transport position. The second determines the opening of the disc gangs and allows the initial opening to be found again when bringing out of the transport position (memory function). The disc gangs fold in line to offer the safest possible road transport. Total width less than 2.5 m. Central Beam Structure Beam 250 x 250 x 10 mm. Box section disc carriers : 150 x 100 x 8 mm. Multi-position hitch Three positions combined with adjustment using the top link allows the height to be optimised at the towing point to obtain maximum benefit from the tractor’s power. DISCOVER XM2 X TYPE TANDEM DISC HARROWS Intermediate range for 85 to 218 hp tractors A range of 28 to 48 discs aimed at mixed arable farms, agricultural machinery cooperatives and agricultural contractors. Enhanced ease of use sets the Discover XM2 apart. Manual or hydraulic folding and available attachments are aimed at further enhancing its productivity. Its reinforced structure makes it suitable for intensive use. 5 Multi-position hitch Three positions combined with adjustment using the turnbuckle allow the height to be optimised at the towing point thus deriving maximum benefit from the tractor’s power.
