1 High-performance and robust implements The rotor drive (case hardened forged steel gearwheels) and a frame made up of a large box section casing provide great robustness to the EL 62, EL 82 and EL 92. Compact to suit vineyards and orchards Thanks to a slim overall to working width ratio, a well positioned centre of gravity and a smooth profile. Versatile and efficient The large diameter rotor with C-blades ensures an important clod crumbling and mixing of plant residues: ideal for working in green spaces. www.kuhn.com Common points. 1 Central gearbox – The heavy cast iron central gearbox is designed for tractors up to 48 kW (65 hp) for the EL 62, 63 kW (85 hp) for the EL 82 and 74 kW (100 hp) for the EL 92. The set back position of the gearbox reduces PTO angles. – A friction slip clutch fitted as standard protects the drive train. On the EL 92, the Duplex gearbox offers 2 standard speeds (194/230 rpm). Two additional speeds are available as optional equipment (178/252 rpm). – The EL 62 Duplex gearbox offers 2 speeds (206 or 245 min-1) by inverting the gearwheels. Rear hood The rear hood is double skinned and fitted with a safety spring to handle difficult conditions. It includes a hinge over the full width and a simple and efficient adjustment by pin. The optimized rear hood curve provides good soil flow, leveling, and finish meeting the requirements of market gardeners and horticulturists. 2 Box-type construction The cross casing forms a one-piece frame providing high rigidity and resistance to distortion.
