NE Vertical Maxx® Single-Auger TMR Mixers 420 550 Cubic Feet WORLD-WIDE LEADER IN TMR MIXERS Vertical Maxx ® Mixers VSL 142 and 150 NEW VSL SERIES MODELS The 142 and 150 are the newest single-auger vertical mixer models designed for dairy and beef producers. These two models are designed with a low profile to allow for easy loading and have enough capacity to easily serve small to medium sized operations.
These Vertical Maxx mixers can effectively handle the broadest range of feedstuffs, including large round bales, and can process up to 100% hay to get more roughage in the ration. Design improvements to the body and mixing auger have enhanced mixing performance and discharge consistency, while the hydraulic side-shift discharge conveyor and optional inclining extension provide superior unloading versatility. Replaceable Hay-Cutting Knives Two types of two-position hay-cutting knives are available for different applications. They can be set out to improve processing or set in to reduce horsepower. SINGLE-AUGER DESIGN Versatile, Durable and Efficient The heavy-duty, single-axle undercarriage provides stability, strength and durability under harsh field or yard conditions. The free-standing, single-auger design allows for quick and efficient hay processing, as well as fast, thorough cleanout. The shiftable, dual-side front cross conveyor can be used for floor feeding or with various feed bunks and is conveniently controlled with one set of hydraulics. Three adjustable, high/low position hay stops provide flexibility with easy adjustment, for faster processing in high hay rations. The hay retention ring allows the mixer to run faster during processing and helps eliminate hay spillage. Planetary Drive System The simple planetary drive has very few moving parts and is specifically designed to provide long life and reliability under heavy-duty use and in the most difficult mixing conditions. 2-Speed Gearbox A shiftable, 2-speed gearbox option allows for reduced input horsepower/auger speed for easier starting and mixing, even with smaller tractors. Shifting Front Cross Conveyor This conveyor can shift left and right and unload to either side, with or without an incline on one side, providing unmatched flexibility and a consistent, even discharge.
